After a little delay, we announce our Challenge winners!
From attending lectures & films to touring some of the most interesting, design-centric homes that Palm Springs has to offer, guests have a wide variety of things to see and do. And yes, there will be music and martinis.
The Mesa neighborhood of Palm Springs is far from the quaint community originally envisioned by creator Edmond Fulford in the 1930s. Though just short of 180 homes, this small neighborhood packs a punch when it comes to luxury and lavish living spaces. It is no wonder that this small, private community has drawn in big names like Clark Gable, Barry Manilow and Suzanne Somers (to name a few). Resting at the foot of Mount San Jacinto, La Mesa offers the privacy and peace of a true desert oasis. The neighborhood has built a reputation for Spanish-style homes, chic craftsmans, and mid-century masterpieces.
La Mesa will be the stage for Mesa Modern, a featured design house in collaboration with interior designer Michelle Boudreau, landscape architect John Feldman of Ecocentrix and the design team of Juniper House. This newly-constructed home will showcase its outstanding architecture and breathtaking outdoor spaces, a reflection of Palm Springs’ new design movement and its founders’ global perspectives on art, architecture, and design.
We are delighted to announce that Mesa Modern will feature some Bend Goods favorites, such as our Cloud Bench and our Eclipse Table with Terrazzo. (You’ll be able to find these items in the new Juniper House showroom, as well!)
